Chapmanslade Village Hall

The Village Hall in Chapmanslade is located at the West end of the village on the Memorial Playing field, donated to the village after the first world war. Tha Hall itself was built in 1972 replacing the old Hut.

The Hall is a modern building with lots of space and facilities. 1600 sq ft creates space for a stage. Bar and kitchen as well as toilet facilities for ladies gents and disabled persons. The Kitchen has 3 ovens and a large hob as well as a microwave oven, fridge freezer, plate warmer and serving hatch. The hall also has a permanent bar (TENS license required for alcohol)

The main hall can accommodate 185people for dancing, 176 for a seated performance and 122 for a seated meal. It doesn’t stop there, baby changing facilities are available as well as a patio outside and a large car park.

The Memorial field is surrounded by native trees, some were planted for the Queens Jubilee 2012. The field is home to many activities including football. There is also a Boules pitch, netball post and a childrens playground. No shortage of fun here!
